SUSPICIOUS — Report at 3:52 a.m. Monday, June 7, of a suspicious vehicle at Whipple Beach Recreation Area, 14441 Oakwood Drive. The person was fishing.

Report at 10:02 p.m. Sunday of people in the lane of traffic and yelling at Clearwater Road and Forest Drive. An intoxicated male was transported back to a residence.

Report at 11:45 p.m. Saturday of three people at Whipple Beach park after hours. They were advised.

Report at 10:56 p.m. Friday of a group of people at Whipple Beach park after hours.

Report at 12:36 a.m. Friday of several people loitering at Taco Bell, 14175 Edgewood Drive.

Report Friday of a male hanging out in the tunnel in Baxter. Officer made contact and the male was homeless.

THEFTS — Report Sunday of a theft at Walmart, 7295 Glory Road. A person was cited for stealing $352.48 in merchandise.

Report at 3:28 p.m. Sunday of the complainant leaving her purse in the shoe department at a retail store on the 13000 block of Elmwood Drive and when she came back it was gone.

Report Thursday of a theft of a bike on the 13000 block of Elmwood Drive.

Report Saturday of a 47-year-old man cited for shoplifting at Menards, 15236 Dellwood Drive.

Report Saturday of a 49-year-old woman shoplifting at Walmart.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 10:02 a.m. Sunday of a domestic disturbance between a stepdad and stepson on the 8300 block of Red Pine Circle.

Report at 9:33 p.m. Friday of an argument between people and someone was punched on the 12000 block of Knollwood Drive. Officers made contact and the people calmed down and were able to work things out.

ARRESTS — A 21-year-old man was arrested at 1:46 a.m. Sunday for driving while intoxicated during a traffic stop on Woida Road and Inglewood Drive.

A 25-year-old man and a 22-year-old man were arrested at 7:42 p.m. Saturday following a welfare check on the 7500 block of Excelsior Road, where a female was crying. Officers located the vehicle and attempted to stop it to further investigate, but the driver fled and was eventually stopped in Motley. The driver was arrested for fleeing and DWI-controlled substance and the passenger was arrested for active warrants. The vehicle also was reported as stolen.

A 31-year-old man was arrested at 3:02 a.m. Saturday for second-degree DWI-controlled substance and drug possession following a report of a suspicious vehicle at Southwest Fifth and Cora streets, Brainerd.

A 40-year-old man was arrested at 6:15 p.m. Friday after a report of a stolen vehicle. The man was arrested at Holiday Inn Express, 15739 Audubon Way.

ARREST — A 26-year-old man was arrested at 3:10 a.m. Thursday for first-degree burglary, obstructing the legal process, fifth-degree assault and disorderly conduct following an assault on the 1000 block of Terrace Avenue.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 1:55 a.m. Friday of a suspicious vehicle parked at Casey’s, 850 Lum Park Road, after hours.

Report at 12:58 a.m. Friday of a suspicious person on the 1100 block of East River Road. A woman was cited for misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Report at 8:21 p.m. Wednesday of someone checking car door handles on Second Avenue Northeast. Officers were unable to locate.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 11 p.m. of people refusing to leave a residence on the 1500 block of Norwood Street. Officers made contact and the people left without incident.

Report at 8:57 p.m. Thursday of a domestic disturbance on the 200 block of Gillis Avenue. A male was cited for misdemeanor fleeing a peace officer.

Report at 2:38 p.m. Thursday of a verbal domestic dispute on Merri Lane.

Report at 12:41 p.m. Thursday of a domestic disturbance on the 2400 block of Hillcrest Drive.

Report at 9:30 a.m. Thursday of a domestic disturbance on the 1400 block of Laurel Street. A juvenile was cited.

Report at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday of a verbal domestic dispute on the 600 block of James Street.

Report at 2:05 p.m. Wednesday of a domestic disturbance on the 2400 block of Hillcrest Drive.

BURGLARY — Report at 8:46 p.m. Wednesday of an attempted burglary on the 2000 block of Pine Street.

THEFT — Report Wednesday of a theft of a game console on the 1400 block of Norwood Street.
