CROSBY - Cuyuna Regional Medical Center (CRMC) has developed a nursing assistant training program on its Crosby campus.
The program provides an opportunity for participants to obtain experience toward a nursing assistant career or other nursing positions in the organization.
Students are able to work as care provider assistants in CRMC's Care Center while completing the nursing assistant course. Those interested may complete the care provider assistant job application at careersatcrmc.org.
The position pays $12.26 an hour and CRMC will pay for the tuition, books and course fees.
Upon successful placement on the nursing assistant registry, students will be able to move into nursing assistant roles in the Care Center which pay $13.93 an hour. Hours worked in the Care Center could also qualify employees for a $5,000 nursing facility scholarship.
