"Until there's a Cure-Breast Cancer Prevention and Treatment" will be presented on Tuesday evenings in October as part of Cuyuna Regional Medical Center's (CRMC) monthly Well Woman lecture series by obstetrician/gynecologists and other providers.
At 6 p.m. on Oct. 7, Dr. Leigh Bauer will speak at Heartwood Senior Living Community in Crosby.
At 6 p.m. on Oct. 21, Dr. Christina Kramer will speak at CRMC's Baxter Clinic.
Both talks are free and open to the public; no reservation is necessary.
At the presentation, the doctors will speak about what is and is not normal for breasts, types of breast cancer, risk factors, common symptoms, stages of cancer and treatment options. They will also explain how breasts can be protected through regular self exams and screenings.
