CROSBY-The League of Women Voters of the Brainerd Lakes Area is hosting an event Feb. 14 at The Skillet Restaurant in Brainerd.
Kyle Bauer, chief executive officer of Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby, will speak about the organization noon-12:30 p.m. and Melissa Goble, women's health nurse practitioner, will speak about the hospital's new Menopause Center 12:30-1 p.m.
Lunch and social will be at 11:30 a.m.
The League of Women Voters of the Brainerd Lakes Area is a nonpartisan political organization with a 90-year history of educating Minnesota voters. It encourages informed and active participation in government and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
