The Cuyuna Lakes Chamber of Commerce kicked off its summer Music in the Park series Thursday, June 13, at Crosby Memorial Park.
Besides music, there was also food, games and activities. Cuyuna Regional Medical Center, which sponsored Thursday's Music in the Park, promoted healthy activities and nutrition for youths, including things such as watermelon eating contests, planting vegetable seeds in a pot to take home, getting carrot seeds from "Rooty" the carrot and constructing caterpillar kabobs out of fruit.
Music in the Park in Crosby goes every second and fourth Thursday evening through the month of August.
