The Crosby Police Department Thursday arrested a man for fourth-degree assault of a police officer, obstructing legal process with force and disorderly conduct.
Police had initially responded to a business on Third Avenue Southwest for a disturbance call. Officers arrived and made contact with a male who officers initially determined needed medical care.
Officers assisted ambulance staff in transporting the male, who became more and more out of control, to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center.
Officers used a taser during the incident and did sustain minor injuries while attempting to gain control of the male. Once medically cleared, the male was transported to Crow Wing County Jail on the listed charges.
