The Crow Wing County Community Services Building temporarily closed at noon Thursday, Oct. 22, for two weeks after it was reported several staff members were exposed to COVID-19.
“This decision was made out of an abundance of caution to both our staff and the residents they serve,” Community Services Director Kara Terry stated in a news release.
All county services remain available online and by phone. All other county buildings remain open during the business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“We want to reassure our community that staff will continue to work and offer all the services we provide when our doors are open. Maintaining individual needs of clients and families is always our priority,” Terry stated.
Residents who need assistance are encouraged to call 218-824-1140.and make appointments to schedule time with a financial worker or social worker. Staff will continue to provide services online and by phone.
