Crow Wing County and the city of Crosslake will offer land use workshops regarding land use permit regulations and requirements.
The workshops will be from 8 a.m. to noon March 6 in meeting room No. 2 at the County Land Services building at 322 Laurel St. and from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. March 27 at Crosslake City Hall at 37028 County Highway 66.
The workshop is being developed for contractors working around lakes in the county, but all are welcome to attend.
Agenda items include geographic information system review and changes to parcel IDs, septic and Federal Emergency Management Agency, shoreland review, wetlands, proposed ordinance changes, soil and water conservation districts, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and stormwater management
"We believe that people want to do the right thing when it comes to their property," Environmental Services Supervisor Jacob Frie said in a news release. "This workshop is an opportunity to learn and understand rules and regulations for developing and improving property within Crow Wing County and Crosslake."
