Crow Wing County Land Services recently completed its annual mowing of 13 non-motorized trails located throughout the county. The trails are available for equestrian riders, hiking, mountain biking, hunting and other uses.

"These trails are in great shape this season for any number of non-motorized activities," Environmental Services Supervisor Ryan Simonson said in a news release. "The trails are open year-round for residents and visitors to enjoy the natural beauty our region has to offer."

The Wolf Lake Trail east of Brainerd and Larson Lake Trail near Deerwood are groomed cross-country ski trails, but are also great for many non-motorized trail activities, especially horseback riding in the fall due to the large parking area accommodating horse trailers.

Locations and maps of the non-motorized trails can be found at www.crowwing.us/316/Hunter-Hiker-Trails .
