Tree clearing and grubbing on Crow Wing County Highway 13 between Highway 371 in Nisswa and County Road 137 in Lake Edward Township will begin next week.
The tree clearing by Anderson Sitework LLC is scheduled to start Monday, Nov. 16. Utility companies will also work in the project corridor to prepare for next year’s reconstruction work.
The road will remain open during the clearing project, which will begin at the west end of the project limits and proceed east. The clearing and grubbing work will take about a month to complete.
The reconstruction of the roadway is on track for early 2021 bidding and an April or May start date according to county officials. The county will post construction updates on Facebook, Twitter and the highway department website at www.crowwing.us/149/Current-Projects .
