Crow Wing County maintenance crews will perform brushing, limb-trimming and tree-removal work in the road rights of way this week on various county roads.
Roads to be worked on include County Highway 22 in Long Lake Township, County Highway 2 and County Road 131 in St. Mathias Township, County Highway 18 in Nisswa and Lake Edward Township, and on county gravel roads in Ross Lake and Little Pine townships.
Chipping of the smaller brush will take place at the site. Crews will cut and place larger trees at the back of the road right of way for property owners.
Crews will work on one travel lane and shoulder simultaneously, creating a need to close a lane of traffic. Signing, flaggers or portable traffic lights will control traffic flow through these areas.
