Beginning Tuesday, June 27, contracted highway work crews will be adding gravel shoulders to Crow Wing County Highway 12, Crow Wing County Road 133, Crow Wing County Highway 24 and Crow Wing County Road 113.
Simultaneously, contracted work crews will be placing small paver-laid patches on County Road 144, County Road 130, County Highway 2 (west of Highway 25) and County Road 22 (east of County Road 108).
Contracted work crews will be working on one travel lane and shoulder simultaneously, creating the need to close one lane of traffic. Signing and flaggers will control the traffic flow through these work areas. Expect traffic delays in the work zones. Drivers are advised to plan alternative routes to avoid these construction areas, a news release stated.
