Crow Wing County seeks public comment on short-term rental licensing

The Crow Wing County Land Services Department wants to hear from the public about a proposed short-term rental license ordinance.

The proposed ordinance can be found online by visiting crowwing.us/214/Ordinance-Policy or in person at the land services department, 322 Laurel St., Brainerd, during business hours, or by calling the department at 218-824-1010.

Written comments on the proposed ordinance will be accepted until Dec. 21. Comments may be emailed to landservices@crowwing.us and include “Short-Term Rental License” in the subject line.

Comments may also be mailed to Crow Wing County Land Services Department, Attn: Short-Term Rental License, Land Services Building, 322 Laurel St., Suite No. 15, Brainerd, MN 56401, faxed to 218-824-1126 or submitted online at crowwing.us/214/Ordinance-Policy .

A public hearing is set for 9:05 a.m. Dec. 31 in the county boardroom to consider adopting the county short-term rental licensing ordinance.
