Crow Wing County seeks public comment on short-term rental licensing

The Crow Wing County Land Services Department wants to hear from the public about a proposed short-term rental license ordinance.

The proposed ordinance can be found online by visiting or in person at the land services department, 322 Laurel St., Brainerd, during business hours, or by calling the department at 218-824-1010.

Written comments on the proposed ordinance will be accepted until Dec. 21. Comments may be emailed to and include “Short-Term Rental License” in the subject line.

A public hearing is set for 9:05 a.m. Dec. 31 in the county boardroom to consider adopting the county short-term rental licensing ordinance.
