Crow Wing County Community Services is working to extend the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits through February, despite the partial federal government shutdown.
County officials said they are working with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to ensure benefits for the federal program known as food stamps are issued in mid- to late-January. SNAP recipients should continue to follow all program requirements and reporting.
