Crow Wing Lake Improvement District annual meeting is Aug. 22

The Crow Wing Lake Improvement District will host its annual meeting at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at the Marv Mertens Memorial Pavilion in St. Mathias Township.

The pavilion is an open-air venue that will provide shelter from rain in case of inclement weather. Masks and social distancing will be required. The meeting will also be livestreamed for property owners unable to attend. The specific link will be distributed to property owners in the next week or so.

Due to COVID-19, there will be no social time or breakfast. The annual meeting agenda will include lake improvement district updates, approval of the 2021 budget, and the 2021 lake improvement district assessment. The Lake Improvement District Board of Directors will be elected for the 2020-24 term. Ballots were sent out to property owners in the August newsletter. Ballots may be mailed to Crow Wing Lake Association/LID, P.O. Box 136, Brainerd, MN 56401-0136; or brought to the meeting. Ballots must be received by Aug. 21.

The Crow Wing Lake Association will host its fall meeting following adjournment of the lake improvement district meeting.
