Crow Wing SWCD tree sale pickup set for next month

The Crow Wing Soil and Water Conservation District will sell plants, trees and other items next month that can be picked up at the county fairgrounds.

The Crow Wing Soil and Water Conservation District will host the 22nd Landowner Tree Sale pickup at the public safety building at the county fairgrounds in Brainerd.

All plants, trees and other items must be picked up between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. May 6 or May 7 from the fairgrounds along Southeast 13th Street or County Highway 45, and Madison Street. Motorists are asked to remain in their vehicles due to COVID-19 precautions.

Check the district's website at cwswcd.org/shop for the trees, plants and seed mixes that are still available. Leftover stock will be added online on May 6 or May 7. Only online orders will be accepted.

“Over the years, landowners have planted over 816,343 trees. We are grateful to all our customers that continue to plant trees each year. Little by little, we are making a big difference,” District Manager Melissa Barrick stated in a news release.
