First time curlers such as Delia Bruggeman, Deb Thiesse and Rachel Kmett had varying facial expressions from trepidation to delight to determined concentration Saturday when releasing a curling stone for the first time during open curling at the Fran Holden Curling Arena at the Crow Wing County Fairgrounds.
