Hundreds of masks, cases of hand sanitizer, numerous webcams and various other donations were received by Cuyuna Regional Medical Center this week together with many personal cards and letters of encouragement and appreciation.
“We are so grateful for the outpouring of support from the community,” said CRMC’s Charitable Fund Coordinator Jennifer Podsiadly in a news release. “The notes of encouragement have kept our spirits up and because of very generous community members we are able to continue providing safe health care for area residents during these trying times.”
The donations included 148 handsewn masks, 771 N-95 masks, 465 isolation masks, 30 knitted prayer shawls with prayer books and handmade wood crosses,16 webcams, cases of hand sanitizer for dispensers, artwork, cards and gift cards for Care Center residents, food, many letters and cards for staff.
Another donation drop off date is planned for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, at the tent in CRMC’s employee parking lot across from the hospital’s main entrance.
