Daylilies: The Perfect Perennials will be the next free gardening class to be held at the Brainerd Public Library.
There are more than 70,000 cultivars "hybrids" registered with the American Hemerocallis Society (AHS.) Participants will learn about the best daylilies for their garden. Topics to be covered include general information, basic anatomy, selecting, planting, dividing, landscaping, diseases, pests and resources.
Jackie Froemming, extension educator, will be the presenter of the class scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. Sept. 9.
