BAXTER-Details of the two-vehicle crash at 1:23 p.m. Tuesday on Highway 371 near Green Gables Road, north of Baxter were released Wednesday.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported Jeanne Marie Kinzel, 60, Crosby, was driving a Chevrolet Malibu south on Highway 371 and Stephen Wayne Burton, 67, Walker, was driving a Chevrolet Impala east on Green Gables Road, when the Impala pulled out in front of the Malibu and hit it broadside.
Kinzel and Burton, who were both wearing their seat belts, were both transported to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd for non-life-threatening injuries. The hospital Wednesday reported Kinzel was in good condition and Burton was treated and released.
The state patrol was assisted on scene by the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office, the Brainerd Fire Department, Nisswa Police Department and North Memorial Ambulance.
