Highway 287 (State Street West) will close and detour for up to six weeks between Todd County Road 98, west of Grey Eagle, and the intersection of Highway 28 (State Street) and Maple Street in Grey Eagle on April 26.
The closure is necessary to allow the city of Grey Eagle to replace the sanitary sewer beneath Highway 287 (State Street East).
Motorists will follow a signed 7-mile detour along Todd County Road 98, Todd County Road 2, Highway 28 and South Maple Street in Grey Eagle.
Local access to be maintained, however expect changes and gravel surfaces. Motorists are asked to consider side streets, alleys or back entrances; watch for workers and equipment; and stay out of barricaded areas. Any questions or concerns may be directed to the city of Grey Eagle at 320-285-2464.
All lanes to reopen by early June.
