DILWORTH - Investigators have identified two suspects in a home invasion that involved gunfire over the weekend, Dilworth Police Chief Ty Sharpe said Monday.
Sharpe said his department is seeking arrest warrants for the two suspects. And once the warrants are issued, the suspects' names will be made public, he said.
The home invasion was reported shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday. Four to five people dressed in black and wearing masks came to 202 5th St. NW, No. 11, and tried to forced their way through the front door, according to police.
The group, armed with two guns, fired several shots at the door, eventually forcing it open, and more shots were fired at someone inside the apartment, police said. No one was injured, and the group that opened fire fled as officers arrived, police said.
No arrests have been made. Sharpe said police are still trying to identify the remaining two or three members of the group.

Investigators have learned the shooting may be connected to an earlier incident involving two groups at a party in Fargo, police said.
