A four-page advertising section for the Northland Arboretum earned the Brainerd Dispatch first place in use of color in advertising in the 2018-19 Better Newspaper Contest.

Describing Sprague and Stark's submission of a four-page advertising section for the Northland Arboretum, a judge wrote: "I liked how the colors broke up the categories. The added photos brought in more color. All flowed together well."
