The following people were recently sentenced in Crow Wing County District Court:

Nicholas F. Justin, 32, Brainerd, was sentenced July 13 by Judge Richard Zimmerman to 365 days in county jail, with sentence stayed for two years, for gross misdemeanor third-degree property damage.

Eddie R. Simmons, 33, Brainerd, was sentenced July 13 by Zimmerman to 12 months and one day in the St. Cloud prison, with sentence stayed for five years, for violating his probation on fifth-degree drug possession. He also was sentenced to 13 months in prison with sentence stayed for five years, for violating his probation on fifth-degree drug possession,

Matthew S. Bliss, 41, Crosslake, was sentenced June 30 by Zimmerman to 365 days in county jail, with 335 days stayed for three years, for gross misdemeanor DWI.

William C. Carter, 42, Brainerd, was sentenced June 30 by Zimmerman to 365 days in county jail, with 335 days stayed for three years, for gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety.

Brandon J. Studer, 32, Garrison, was sentenced July 6 by Zimmerman to 365 days in county jail, with 335 days stayed for three years, for gross misdemeanor DWI.

Patrick J. Neelan, 35, Brainerd, was sentenced July 13 by Zimmerman to 12 months and one day in the St. Cloud prison, with sentence stayed for three years, for felony fleeing a peace officer.

Wanda J. Jenniges, 62, Crosslake, was sentenced July 13 by Zimmerman to 365 days in county jail, with 361 days stayed for three years, for gross misdemeanor DWI.

William M. Chapman, 44, Brainerd, was sentenced April 8 by Zimmerman to 365 days in county jail, with 335 days stayed for one year, for gross misdemeanor DWI.

Bradley F. Bauer, 37, Ironton, was sentenced Aug. 18 by Judge Earl Maus to 30 months in the St. Cloud prison with sentence stayed for five years, for knowingly violating his predatory offender registration. Bauer, also known as Bradley Wgeishofski, also was sentenced to serve 122 days in the county jail for felony of issuing a dishonored check.

Bill J. Rude, 53, Wadena, was sentenced Aug. 24 to 365 days in county jail for gross misdemeanor third-degree burglary.

Chancellar S. Fiebing, 20, Brainerd, was sentenced Aug. 17 to 365 days in county jail, with 335 days stayed for two years, for gross misdemeanor stalking with the intent to injure.

Tyler J. Theien, 23, Brainerd, was sentenced June 3 by Judge Kristine DeMay to 365 days in county jail, with 355 days stayed for two years, for gross misdemeanor domestic assault. He also was sentenced to 12 months and one day in the St. Cloud prison, with sentence stayed for five years, for felony of making terroristic threats.

Editor's note: In court terms, when a person is sentenced and given a time as "stayed," it means if the person violates the terms of their probation, they may have to serve the original jail/prison sentence the judge imposed.
