The Ageless Expo is back for another year of providing information and entertainment for Brainerd lakes area seniors.
Set for 9:30 a.m. through 2:30 p.m. Sept. 19 at Forestview Middle School in Baxter, the Ageless Expo is designed for people age 55 and up to provide information on health care, living choices, finances, activities and quality-of-life information.
There will be a keynote address by former WCCO-TV news anchor Don Shelby, dance performances, an antique and classic car show in the parking lot, hobby workshops and more than 30 exhibit booths. Hobby workshops will cover kayaking, bike safety, toymaking, beekeeping, quilting and beer brewing.
Shelby is set to speak at noon and will share his journey and passions as he has aged and will encourage the audience to remember the "spark of youth," a news release states.
Entertainment begins at 10 a.m. with a performance from the Evergreen Cloggers. The Country Swingers line dancers make an appearance at 10:45 a.m. and performances continue after the keynote speech with Ray's Promenaders square dancers at 1:30 p.m. and the Geritol Frolics at 2 p.m.
