Downtown Brainerd snow removal to begin early Thursday, March 11

Plowing will begin at 3 a.m. March 11.

Snow removal in Brainerd’s downtown business district will begin at 3 a.m. Thursday, March 11.

Parking will be banned on the following streets:

  • Front Street between South Sixth and South Eighth streets.

  • Laurel Street between South Sixth and South Eighth streets.

  • South Seventh Street between Maple and Front streets.

Parking is banned on streets until they have been plowed in their entirety. All vehicles parked will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
The city had not declared a snow emergency as of Wednesday afternoon.
