LASTRUP - A 68-year-old Hillman man was killed Sunday after the Jeep Liberty he was driving rolled and he was ejected from it on Highway 27, east of Lastrup, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.
Elmer G. Monson was traveling east on Highway 27, just west of 350th Avenue in Morrison County. The Jeep encountered icy conditions and left the roadway to the south. The driver did not have his seat belt on and he was ejected when the vehicle rolled, the state patrol reported.
The fatality was reported at 8:05 p.m.
The Morrison County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
