BAXTER - A driver was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 5:18 a.m. Thursday on Highway 371 and College Road in Baxter, reported the Baxter Police Department.
One vehicle was northbound on Highway 371 and the second vehicle was eastbound on Glory Road/College Road. Police said the first vehicle failed to stop at a red light and the second vehicle struck it in the intersection.
The driver in the first vehicle was transported by North Memorial Ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd for injuries.
The Brainerd Fire Department performed extrication at the scene and assisted North Memorial.
Names of those involved in the crash were not yet available Thursday.
