MILACA - A 57-year-old Hillman man was injured in a two-vehicle, rear-end crash at 2:45 p.m. Thursday on Highway 169 and 220th Street in Mille Lacs County, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.
It was reported a GMC Sierra Truck, driven by Burton E. Gran, 78, Plymouth, turned on 220th Street to go southbound on Highway 169 in the right lane. A Ford Econoline van, driven by Richard R. Schlag, 57, Hillman, was southbound in the right lane and rear-ended the truck as it was trying to accelerate, the state patrol said.
Schlag was transported to Mille Lacs Health System in Onamia for non-life-threatening injuries.
The Mille Lacs County Sheriff's Office assisted the state patrol at the scene.
