MOTLEY - A dump truck crossed the centerline and crashed into trees Tuesday after the driver suffered a medical condition.
Morrison County Sheriff Shawn Larsen said about 1 p.m. Tuesday the sheriff's office received a report of the single-vehicle crash with injuries on Dove Road in Rosing Township, east of Motley.
According to the Sheriff's Office, a dump truck was traveling north on Dove Road when the driver, 34-year-old Wesley Kosec, suffered an unknown medical condition. The truck crossed over the driving lanes and entered the ditch on the west side of Dove Road, hitting some trees. Kosec was taken by private vehicle to Lakewood Health Systems in Staples with unknown injuries.
The vehicle sustained heavy front-end damage.
Morrison County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by the Pillager Area Fire Protection Association Team and the Minnesota State Patrol.
