Driver suffers injury as car leaves road, hits tree

GARRISON--A 25-year-old Ironton man was injured when the Nissan Altima he was driving left the roadway and hit a tree Saturday, Dec. 8, on the 7500 block of Highway 169 in Garrison.

GARRISON-A 25-year-old Ironton man was injured when the Nissan Altima he was driving left the roadway and hit a tree Saturday, Dec. 8, on the 7500 block of Highway 169 in Garrison.

The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office reported the man was transported by ambulance for a leg injury to the Onamia hospital.

The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the crash at 8:11 a.m. and identified the driver as Joshua J. Stoneking. The state patrol, the agency investigating the crash, reported alcohol is involved in the crash.
