DEERWOOD - Two Deerwood residents were injured in a two-vehicle crash reported at 8:13 a.m. Thursday on Rice Lake Road and Nokay Lake Road in Deerwood, the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office reported.
The drivers, Mancel Mitchell, Jr., 73, and Ashley Venne, 24, were checked out on scene by paramedics, but both refused ambulance transportation to the hospital.
