Drivers injured in rear-end crash

NISSWA--Drivers involved in a rear-end crash at 1:39 p.m. Monday on Highway 371 near Nisswa had non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to the Brainerd hospital.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported Roger A. Heyer, 67, Nisswa, was driving a Chevy Tahoe north on Highway 371, when it was rear ended by a Buick Lesabre driven by Carl W. Borleis, 46, Breezy Point.

Both drivers, who were wearing their seat belts, were transported to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd.

The Nisswa Police Department, the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office and the Brainerd Fire Department assisted the state patrol at the scene.
