NISSWA - Ted Dullum was named 2014 Nisswa Citizen of the Year. He was selected by a committee on Monday.
Continuing a 27-year tradition in the Nisswa community, the committee surprised Dullum at the Nisswa Lions Club meeting Monday night. He was greeted by his fellow Lions with a standing ovation for being given this designation. His designation will be celebrated at the Nisswa Chamber Fall Membership Dinner and Nisswa Citizen of the Year celebration Sept. 18. Several past Citizens of the Year were present at the Lions meeting were Dullum received the news. They included Jack Warden, 1994; Deb Cruz, 2013; Ted Schaefer, 2009; Jim Dullum, 1989; Del Draves, 2004; and Penny Stumvoll, 2011.
