DULUTH - Duluth police continue to search for two men who allegedly robbed a gas station at gunpoint early Sunday morning.
The robbery occurred at about 3:30 a.m. in a Holiday Station at 3931 W. First St. Police report their investigation indicates that two men entered the store and one demanded money from its employees, after displaying a black semi-automatic handgun.
The pair collected an undisclosed sum of money and then fled the scene. They were last seen running east, where they jumped into a vehicle and sped away.
Both suspects were wearing hooded sweatshirts and had bandanas over their faces.
The armed suspect was described as a white man with a heavy build, wearing a black sweatshirt. His partner was described as a white man with a heavy build, wearing a purple sweatshirt.
