DWI All-Stars list includes 2 Baxter officers

All-Stars in both the metropolitan area and Greater Minnesota combined for a total of 3,170 DWI arrests “protecting people from a driver’s choice to risk their own life and the lives of other people on the road by driving impaired.”

Two Baxter police officers were recognized among a number of law enforcement officials and prosecutors for their outstanding service in enforcement and in the prosecution of impaired driving.

Taylor Halverson and Lance Herbst were named 2019 DWI All-Stars by the Office of Traffic Safety, a division of the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. Halverson made 54 driving while intoxicated arrests during 2019, while Herbst completed 32 arrests. St. Cloud police officer Darin Vossen arrested the most impaired drivers in Greater Minnesota with 163 DWI arrests.
