PEQUOT LAKES - Parents may sign up for early childhood screening offered by the Pequot Lakes School District on March 16 and May 4 at the Early Childhood Family Center on the east end of Eagle View Elementary School.

The screening is done by a nurse and an early childhood teacher who can detect possible health or learning concerns. It's ideal for kids ages 3 to 4.

In order to start kindergarten in any Minnesota public school, all children will need to be screened.

Call 218-562-7520 to schedule an appointment for one of the screening dates. The screenings are free.
