East Gull Lake council opposes helipad measure

Private helipads will not be allowed in East Gull Lake.

The city council voted unanimously Tuesday, Sept.1, to deny an ordinance amendment permitting the construction and use of private helipads within the city, following a recommendation from the city’s planning and zoning commission.
