A 38-year-old East Gull Lake man was injured when the Volkswagon Passat he was driving Tuesday night on Highway 87, east of Tripp Lake Road in Hubbard County, left the roadway and hit a tree head-on, reported the Minnesota State Patrol.
Jason S. Crimmins, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was taken to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd for non-life threatening injuries.
The crash was reported at 7:10 p.m.
The Hubbard County Sheriff's Office assisted the state patrol on scene.
