The East Gull Lake Planning and Zoning Commission denied an ordinance amendment allowing private helipads in the city and recommended the council do the same.
Commissioners voted 3-2 Tuesday, Aug. 25, to recommend denial of an amendment to the city’s use ordinance that would allow issuance of conditional use permits for residents who meet certain criteria to construct and use helipads on their private property.
