A Solar Energy 101 class will be 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, at the Brainerd Public Library.
Hosted by The Innovator Lab and Rural Renewable Energy Alliance, this STEAM-science, technology, engineering, art and math-program is for children ages 7-12. Children will
learn about solar energy and build solar robots. Registration is required by calling the library at 218-829-5574.
The Innovator Lab is a library program offering many STEAM classes for children throughout the
year. The Rural Renewable Energy Alliance is a nonprofit with a mission to make solar energy accessible to everyone. Through RREAL's education and community outreach, it provides
experiential learning opportunities to learners of all ages. RREAL's Solar for Schools is a program that educates, inspires and empowers the next generation with solar technology.
This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Brainerd Public Library through their volunteer and fundraising efforts and is free of charge to the public.
