A Blue Ribbon Science Club for children ages 7-12 years old will be 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, at the Brainerd Public Library.
Hosted by The Innovator Lab, this STEAM-science, technology, engineering, art and math program-will have children experimenting with fractal patterns and building a phone using sound vibrations. Registration is required.
The Blue Ribbon Science Club will be the last Tuesday of every month through July.
During each session, children will learn how to test hypotheses, conduct experiments and use science and math to solve problems and answer questions. Session topics will include astronomy, engineering, orienteering, forestry and more.
This event series is sponsored by the Friends of the Brainerd Public Library through their volunteer and fundraising efforts, and is free of charge to the public.
