Pequot Lakes speech team wins sub-section tournament. Klein is subsection Coach of the Year
The Pequot Lakes High School speech team captured the Sub-Section 23A Championship on Saturday, March 30, in Menahga, and head coach Angie Klein was named the subsection Coach of the Year.
The Patriots finished with 155 points followed by runner-up Staples with 129. Placing for the Patriots were:

Discussion: Mollie Pierson, first; Jakob Sundstrom, second; Hunter Johnson, third.
Drama: Ali Sommerness, first; Sophie Littman, third; Isaiah Loukota, fifth.

Extemporaneous reading: Allison Francis, second; Annabelle Ristow, fourth; Lily Blomer, sixth; Mitchel Blaeser, seventh.
