LITTLE FALLS — Little Falls Community High School student Emma Ahlin is among 44 Minnesota students who earned Scholars of Distinction awards.

The awards recognized students in science, technology, engineering, math, social studies, leadership and theater arts. Ahlin earned a meritorious performance award in acting/musical theater.

Students must complete required work in Minnesota’s academic standards, demonstrate mastery of complex subject matter and apply their knowledge and skills on a challenging project. Experts in each category read and score applications, and students earn medals and certificates.
