A motorcycle crash about 3 p.m. Friday, June 25, on Highway 25 near South Long Lake forced traffic down to one lane and drew a number of emergency responders.
A witness at the scene reported a man lying in the southbound lane of traffic on the state highway and a number of other motorcyclists stopped, some of whom appeared to be directing traffic before law enforcement and medical personnel arrived. The man appeared to be conscious while holding his shoulder, the witness reported.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office, Minnesota State Patrol and North Memorial Health Ambulance were present at the scene.
