EMILY -- A 22-year-old Wisconsin man was taken to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby for minor injuries following a stabbing reported at 11:05 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at the Log Cabin Bar, 40012 Highway 6, Emily.
The Emily Police Department reported there was an altercation in the bar when someone stepped on someone else’s foot. The people involved apologized to each other, then later there was a 911 call of a stabbing incident. Police reported the victim was stabbed in the upper right chest and was taken to CRMC to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police reported the victim did not provide a lot of information on the incident, and did not want to press charges, if a suspect was found and arrested. The police department continues to investigate the case.
