Environmental group to host presentation Saturday

Brainerd Lakers United for the Environment will host a presentation by Citizens' Climate Lobby from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, followed by a question-and-answer session until 3 p.m. in the Brainerd Public Library's large conference room.

Brainerd Lakers United for the Environment will host a presentation by Citizens' Climate Lobby from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, followed by a question-and-answer session until 3 p.m. in the Brainerd Public Library's large conference room.

The CCL presentation will discuss the proposed Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act and how the law, if enacted, would help curb climate change. The CCL presentation will discuss ways to speak effectively and powerfully about climate solutions to elected officials, business leaders, neighbors and friends.

The CCL presentation hosted by BLUE is a free event that is open to the public. Beverages and snacks will be provided.
