WALKER — There will be two events in Cass County where people can find out more about becoming a census taker and make an application for a job position.
The job offers flexible hours and pays $19 per hour weekly, including for training.
One recruitment session will be 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 28 at the Cass County Land Department, 218 Washburn Ave., Backus. The other will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 19 at the Cass County Courthouse (in the ground floor of the annex building meeting room), 303 Minnesota Ave. (Highway 371), Walker.
Applicants must be age 18 or older. They must be a U.S. citizen or have a legal work permit. A background check will be conducted on all applicants before they are hired.
