Failure to yield leads to 2-car collision

The crash took place at the intersection of Highways 64 and 210, just east of Motley.

MOTLEY — A 49-year-old woman was taken to a Minneapolis hospital following a two-vehicle crash at 3:52 p.m. Sunday, June 6, in Cass County.

Dawn L. Billman, 49, Staples, was driving a Mitsubishi Galant south on Highway 64, when she failed to yield and was struck by a GMC Sierra, driven by James G. Turnbaugh, 39, Staples, who was traveling west on Highway 210 in Motley, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.

Turnbaugh was not injured and Billman was taken to Lakewood Health System in Staples by ambulance and then to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis for non-life-threatening injuries.
