PINE RIVER - The second evening in the fall series of Feast, Film and Forum will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Hunt Utilities Group (HUG) campus in Pine River.
Co-sponsored by Happy Dancing Turtle and the Northwoods Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, this session will cover alternative methods of food preservation. Presenters Lorna Koestner and Barbara Kaufman will discuss techniques ranging from drying to fermentation. There will be demonstrations and samples to taste. Due to the amount of material to be covered, there will be no film this time.
The evening will begin with an optional potluck at 5:30 p.m. The program will begin at 6 p.m.
